Stevie Kremer, while being a middle school counselor in Crested Butte, is also an endurance runner champion based in Crested Butte, Colorado. Having only started running seriously 8 years ago, Kremer has risen through the ranks quickly. In 2011 Kremer had victories at the Barr Trail Mountain Race, Golden Leaf Half Marathon and a course record at the Greenland Trail Race (25km). In 2012 she placed 1st at the Jungfrau Marathon in Switzerland, the Mount Evans Ascent in Idaho Springs, CO and replicated her victory from the previous year at the Golden Leaf Half Marathon in Aspen, CO. Her list of achievements is long, but 2013 was truly Kremer’s year.

After victories at the Marathon du Mont Blanc in France, the Hermannslauf in Germany and a second place at the Sierre-Zinal Mountain Race, Switzerland, Kremer had an inspiring win at the Limone Extreme Skyrace, Italy. This cemented her position as the overall women’s Skyrunning Sky Series world champion for 2013 followed by another win in 2014. In the winter, Kremer enjoys ski mountaineering and has done exceedingly well in this sport as well, with a third overall ranking in the North American Ski Mountaineering Championship in 2012. She was the World Champion for the 2012 World Long Distance Mountain event.
